Day 1

Brisbane - Botanic Gardens - Canberra
Begin your holiday with a flight to Canberra where you will be met by your Coach Captain and Hostess. Enjoy lunch at a local club before a visit to the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The gardens has a collection of native plants from all parts of Australia. The garden also cultivates plants threatened in the wild, helping to protect them from extinction. Guides share stories about the fascinating array of Australian plants on display and the Gardens' many achievements. Take a drive past the Embassies and High Commissions before we settle into our accommodation for the next two nights.

Day 2

Cockington Green - Canberra Floriade - National Arboretum
After breakfast, we will taked in the view from Mt Ainslie Lookout with its scenic views over Canberra. Next, visit the miniature re-creation of an English rural village at Cockington Green, complete with river, trains, bonsai gardens and tiny folk. After lunch we will continue to Commonwealth Park for Canberra's Floriade which showcases one million flowers in bloom; the perfect place to experience the beauty of spring. This afternoon visit the National Arboretum which is a mosaic of living forests and gardens offering breathtaking views. Return to our motel for dinner.

Day 3

Canberra - Goulburn - Mittagong
Today before we farewell Canberra we visit Tulip Top Gardens. The gardens spread over four hectares is home to 100 blooming trees, half a million bulbs, 100,000 annuals and is sure to a feast for the senses. Purchase your own morning tea during your visit. Next travel to the Southern Highlands, stopping off in Goulburn for lunch. Visit Red Cow Farm Garden, one of the leading gardens in the beautiful Southern Highlands region. The garden is a unique cool climate garden set on 2.5 hectare and is divided into 20 garden rooms including an exuberant cottage garden, monastery garden, a stunning collection of rare and unusual perennials, woodland, old fashioned roses and clematis, beech walk, lake, bog garden, orchard and kitchen garden. Continue on to settle into your accommodation for the next two nights.

Day 4

Fitzroy Falls - Berrima - Bowral
Today we visit Fitzroy Falls in Morton National Park where a short walk along the boardwalk to the lookout offers spectacular views of the falls and valley. Visit the Secret Garden, another stunning garden established in 1994 by garden owner and horticulturalist with gardens covering the 5 acres with a Cherry Blossom Walk, a fountain garden, a Birch Walk and rose lawn. Stop off in Moss Vale at Leighton Gardens, a public park that boasts a lovely tulip display. Spend some free time in Berrima, a historic town full of character and charm, where time will be allowed to purchase your own lunch. Harper's Mansion in Berrima is set in two acres of gardens made for strolling, full of cool climate heritage plants and featuring one of the largest hedge mazes in Australia. Enjoy a wine tasting at Centennial Vineyard before returning to your motel to freshen up for dinner.

Day 5

Mittagong - Blackheath
Today we visit Corbett Park to view the stunning tulip displays. After morning tea, explore the Bradman Museum and International Cricketing Hall of Fame. The museum is dedicated to the game of cricket with interactive touch screens, displays and memorabilia. After lunch, explore the Everglades Historic House and Gardens at Leura. This stunning Art Deco home lies in the midst of 5.2ha of graceful gardens. Check into your accommodation for your overnight stay.

Day 6

Blackheath - Hunter Valley
This morning we head towards Pokolbin, travelling through Richmond, Windsor and along the very scenic Putty Road. Continue on to the Hunter Valley, before arriving at the spectacular Hunter Valley Gardens. Purchase your own lunch and perhaps visit the Christmas shop before wandering through the gardens. With over 24 hectares of spectacular gardens, you will be amazed at the sights colours and fragrances that you will experience. Stay overnight at the Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens.

Day 7

Hunter Valley - Tamworth - Armidale
Today our journey takes us through the Upper Hunter to Tamworth for a visit to The Big Golden Guitar Tourist Centre, located in the heart of Australia's country music hotspot. After lunch, continue on to the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame. This establishment features an unmatched collection of memorabilia from Australian Country music artists such as Smoky Dawson, Buddy Williams, Tex Morton, Beccy Cole and more. This afternoon, travel on to Armidale where we will check into our overnight accommodation.

Day 8

Armidale - Brisbane
Sit back and relax as we traverse the New England Plateau, taking time to reflect on the many highlights of our tour. Travel via Guyra, Glen Innes and the Granite Belt, stopping for lunch in Warwick. This afternoon, on arrival back into Brisbane, your Coach Captain and Hostess will have your transfers arranged.
