Spring has sprung especially in Toowoomba, as the well known Carnival of Flowers springs into life. Toowoomba is keen to show off its spectacular gardens and prove that tight water restrictions won't hold them back. This tour today will enable us to see some of the displays and competition gardens and to stop and smell the roses and other highly perfumed plants that are growing in some of the many parks. Before lunch, we visit the Clivia Show where we see a display of these beautiful flowers. A delicious morning tea and catered lunch make up this day.
