Day 1

Brisbane - Adelaide - Wirrina Cove
Your tour begins with a flight to Adelaide, where you will be met by our Coach Captain and Hostess. This afternoon, travel to Hahndorf, Australia's oldest surviving German settlement and one of the Adelaide Hills most famous towns. Take time to wander the specialty shops and purchase your own lunch. Depart the leafy Adelaide Hills and travel through the Fleurieu Peninsula with its rolling vineyards before reaching the rugged beauty and the quiet coastal charm at Wirrina Cove, where we will settle into our overnight accommodation. Please note: all rooms have showers over baths.

Day 2

Wirrina Cove - Kangaroo Island
This morning travel to Cape Jervis where we'll embark on the ferry crossing from the South Australian mainland arriving into Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island. Visit Clifford's Honey Farm for a talk and tasting and learn about the unique bee found only on Kangaroo Island. Continue on to the Emu Ridge Eucalyptus and Craft Gallery for a guided tour and lunch. This afternoon, visit the Birds of Prey Raptor Display where we learn about the individual flight and hunting characteristics of these magnificent creatures, before settling into our accommodation for the next two nights.

Day 3

Kangaroo Island
Today begins with a visit to Seal Bay Conservation Park for a guided tour. Continue on to Flinders Chase National Park where you will enjoy breathtaking views of Yucca Flat and incredible coastal scenery. After a picnic lunch, visit the Remarkable Rocks and Admiral's Arch where New Zealand fur seal pups will make you laugh as they frolic in the rock pools beneath the arch.

Day 4

Kangaroo Island - Wirrina Cove
After breakfast it's time to leave this peaceful wilderness island behind and travel back to the mainland. On arrival into Cape Jervis, your journey continues across the Fleurieu Peninsula. The peninsula's green hills are bound by cliff tops, beaches, coves and the winding Murray River which pans out and forms a beautiful, calm pool at this afternoon's destination of Goolwa. Once a thriving river port and now a popular holiday town, Goolwa is situated on the last bend on the Murray River before it reaches open water. Enjoy lunch in a local hotel followed by a visit to the Goolwa Historic Wharf Precinct's Riverboat Centre. Travel on to our accommodation to settle in before dinner. Please note: all rooms have showers over baths.

Day 5

Wirrina Cove - Adelaide - Brisbane
As the last day of our tour unfolds, travel through to Adelaide Airport where you can purchase your own lunch before boarding your flight home.
